    A critical access point of the Emergency Department (ED) of Mercy Medical Center is where patients are provided with urgent life-saving care due to a wide range of illnesses and trauma cases. The ED is a high-stress workplace that caters to the needs of the community in a time-sensitive fashion (Saifan et al., 2024).

    A SOAR analysis may provide valuable information on the strengths, opportunities, aspirations, and results of the department since these are valuable in enhancing quality and safety. Some of the key challenges that ED leadership is summoned to address to remain in a position of offering excellent care include overcrowding, resource allocation, and communication.
