The reason why I selected the Epic EHR system to carry out this evaluation is the significance of the system in the contemporary healthcare system, as well as the role it plays in the future development of healthcare processes, clinical or administrative. Epic EHR system has gained recognition and is celebrated for having enhanced healthcare, which encompasses better access to appropriate healthcare information and the creation of evidence-based practices, among other significant contributions. This renders the system an excellent platform to consider the effect of EHR systems on healthcare (Hertzum et al., 2022).

Furthermore, the system has been applied in other healthcare centers, including hospitals, clinics, and specialty care centers, which proves its flexibility and applicability to the healthcare system.
